Who’s headed to @yosemitenps for this years #firefall! It’s looking pretty tricky this time around with all the crazy weather we’ve been having but Tuesday looks like a possibility worth taking. #hopingforthefirefall 🙏🏻

A quick trip to Joshua Tree national park a few days ago to put the @rhinocg #rovpro slider through its paces.

I'm absolutely loving how compact and easy it is to set up the #ROV. Super light weight and extremely easy to pack. Here's a little edit of the day and nights adventure in the park combining both time - lapse and video slides.
.
Hope you all enjoy the view and the beauty that is Joshua Tree national park. #rhinocg

DJI Mavic Air first flight with PolarPro Vivid collection filters

February 02, 2018

Here is my first flight with the NEW DJI Mavic Air! I was also able to get my hands on the soon-to-be-released VIVID filter collection from the good people over at PolarPro.

These filters are a MUST have to shoot proper video. Slowing down your shutter is a crucial element to achieving cinematic movie like-quality footage. The rule of double is key! 24fps = 48shutter, etc, etc.

All drone footage other than the one clip was shot in slow motion @ 120fps in 1080p, was captured in 4K @ 30fps and then downsized to 1080p in Adobe PremierPro CC. The new Mavic Air is out of this world awesome! The 4K footage @ 100mps reminds me of the Phantom 4Pro. It's really that good!!!

So excited! Why you might ask? Well, I'm headed to ICELAND tomorrow. So you better believe I'll have another aerial video ready to share upon my arrival back home. Hope you enjoy its first maiden voyage over the land and sea.

If you enjoyed this article and are interested in purchasing the gear used to create these memories please use the links provided under photos.
